Josh's Rag	7.20	Well composed rag, but I think the piano left hand is a bit too emphasized in the first part. The second part requires humanization in performance. It sounds too mechanical to me. Good final part.
Bach Fantasy	7.20	I have mixed feelings listening to this composition. It has several good passages, but also many fragmnents that are not convincing to me. I could not find a clear direction of the music, especially in the piano part. My impression is that chord progressions sound a bit accidental in some places.

Symphony in C minor, mov 1	7.40	There are several good fragments in this composition, but also several parts that need improvement. I did not like the harmony in some parts. For example in m.20-26, where cellos are playing quite dissonant notes and other parts are sometimes out of rhythm. Of course there are also good fragments, I liked that one starting at m.46 - very powerful, with good chord progressions. With the improvement of harmony and timing in several places as well as much lower chorus depth, this composition would be very good.

Trio Opus 44	7.50	Nice, joyful composition. Performed maybe a little too mechanical, with not enough human feeling, but I liked it, especially the first part of it.
Concerto 53	9.80	Una composizione eccelente. Bravo! Excelent composition. My congratulations! Great melodies almost perfectly arranged and orchestrated. Very much in the Mozart style, really.
Piano Sonata 3	8.80	Very much in the Beethoven style, but I find also a little Mozart and even romantic music here. With a little more reverb (concert hall) the performance would be even better. Good job.

The Blue Sea	7.00	It could be a part of a more complex arrangement, but for a standalone piece is too little varied. Very original, well programmed sound effects.

Day Dream	6.50	A simple, but nice melody. The piano accompaniment was a bit too loud in relation to the flute part. By the way, I would add a little more vibrato to this part. It sounded too flat to me.

Never Forgotten
When I Dream of You	7.70	I see almost classical attitude in this composition. Very pleasant and relaxing music, well arranged for piano in spite of a few performance inequalities visible in some places. Good dynamic and tempo changes.
Trio Fugue in G minor	7.10	The composition is not bad, but I think there are too many staccato notes and too much asymetry in melodies of each part. I guess the editing of note lengths would be necessary to play some passages with more legato. I did not like that deep chorus, either.
Introit & Kyrie	8.20	Sounds interesting, but not all chord progressions and harmonies are convincing to me.

Will you be my Valentine	7.00	The composition is quite correct as far as the melody and chord progressions are concerned. I think, however, the accompaniment is not developed enough. For example, I did not like simple quarternote chords played by the piano in the middle part. I would also make some more editing to humanize the performance. Anyway, a good job for such a young composer.
Opus 11 v2002	6.90
Spinnaker	8.50	Latin jazz is one of my favorite styles, so I liked this music. Interesting melody line, good choice of instruments and well done arrangement. Very good bass part, too. The piano improvisation has some gaps, but the general impression is good. Very smooth and relaxing music.
2nd Symphony, vivace	8.80	Great, but unusual for a symphony. I would say it's good for a ballet or a film soundtrack, due to its extraordinary figurativeness. A few motives sounded to me familiar, but even if they were borrowed, they were perfectly mixed together, I admit. Concerning the performance, I would give more hall effect. I think the sound in its present form is a little too dry.

Forty	9.40	Very smooth orchestral arrangement and one of the best compositions in this contest. I liked very much the chord progressions and the dynamic changes. Keep up the good job.
