Giorgio Pacchioni Concerto 53 8.95 8 Questo concerto è costruito in tre movimenti: Allegro, sereno cantabile, Allegretto (rondò), congiunti in un unico file. Esso è pensato per corno naturale in MIb come strumento solista, accompagnato da una piccola orchestra da camera composta da archi, 2 clarinetti in SIb e 2 Fagotti. L'uso dello strumento solista è tarato sulle difficoltà medie che appaiono nei concerti mozartiani di questo tipo e il solista potrà fare uso solo della mano dentro al padiglione per ottenere i suoni estranei alla gamma naturale. E' uno dei miei preferiti (specie per il secondo movimento).

Randall Collins Piano Sonata 3 8.50 6 This is the last movement of my Piano Sonata No. 3 in B-flat which was composed in February of 1990. I wrote this movement with a 'B-flat minor' flavor, which adds some tension to the entire sonata. Lots of modulation within different keys and modes makes it interesting and quite challenging to play. Outside of that, it's a standard rondo-sonata form with my trademark fugal theme (borrowed from the main theme) for the development section and a brisk 'Allegro con brio' section to end this movement.

Simon Goffin Trio Opus 44 8.44 4 Here is a playful trio for clarinet, bassoon and piano with some simple or "traditionnal" mélodies. Music without pretention, as I love ! I hope you'll enjoy it ! (SB Live! and Cadenza's piano & clarinet, Ethan's bassoon).  
Pawel Jurdziak Spanish Impressions 8.22 3 Title: "Spanish Impressions" . Category: B (non-orchestral). Comments: One of my older compositions, written in 2000. A mixture of spanish and jazz/fusion elements with harmonies of reed instruments typical to big band music. GM format, MIDI type 1.  
Donya Quick Flight of Fancy 7.92 2 Title: Flight of Fancy. Category: Orchestral (I think?). Description: A piece for solo classical guitar, written on a SB Live! with concert hall reverb.  
Seth Neuffer Never Forgotten 7.88 1 Category: Mixed or Unknown. So many memories of the many years that have gone by have already been lost. Yet we'll never forget those special moments in our lives that make us happy when we're sad, and give us hope when we feel that all is lost. It's those parts of our lives that make us who we are now, and they will never be forgotten.  
Joseph Ernst Introit and Kyrie 7.73   Category: Classical. Description: This little tune about death should cheer everyone up. Written in the French Impressionistic style (G. Faure/M. Durufle), the main focus is Choral rather than instrumental. There are actually two choirs (left and right). The atmosphere is deliberately subdued and if you don't hear the brass well, then the balance is about right. The words (words in a midi?) are those of the traditional Introit of the requiem mass, as are those of the Kyrie (last half). When I first wrote this, it scared my daughter, so I toned it down considerably. The Introit and Kyrie are essentially the introduction to the Requiem. Peace!

Gerd Prengel Symphony in C minor mov 1 6.94   The movement begins with a choral in C Major with horns depicting the beauty and hope of Life. But soon this atmosphere of dignity is disturbed and then hit by the principle of evil, and the bright choral theme has turned to a sad tune of depression which finally leads to an outburst of desperation with the opening Allegro con brio. This Allegro theme was inspired by various sketches by Beethoven for the first movement of his planned Tenth symphony. The movement now portrays different aspects of life: desperation, passion but also contrasting joyful themes in the exposition and heavy struggles in the development (b.193ff) and the Coda developing the great potential of the powerful main theme. The Coda finally culminates victoriously in the bright return of the choral theme from the introduction with several countersubjects. The movement ends with a final Presto with another variation of the main theme.  
Kenji Katoh Final Battle 8.49   For explaining my works, "final_battle" can be divided into orchestral-hardrock style. The style of music is often found in BGM of a Japanese game, such as "Final Fantasy". I like the melody of it. Midi format is GS (SC-8820).  
Seth Neuffer When I Dream of You 8.42   Category: Non-Orchestral. This song was written for my lovely wife when we were away for the summer. I just couldn't stop thinking about her and was inspired to write this song. Hope you like it.

Luca Rodolfi Violin Concert 1, mov 1 7.92   Violin concert 1mov. it's important the use of Cadenza soundfont for the best rendering of violin solo (the sblive concert hall effect it's also a good idea...). the inspiration for this brillant movement come from a lot of virtuosistic executions that i listened to. Style : neo-classical.

Lavio Opus 11 v2002 7.37   It is a resubmission for 2002 I changed all structure, added new accompaniments and some passages. I also would like to know the new reviewers opinions. It plays better with standard or Merlin soundfonts for GM.

Kenji Katoh Opening Fire 7.03   "opening_fire" can be distinguished into a "Orchestral-Cinematic" style, like an opening BGM for a video game. I think the fruit is most magnificent font in the music. Midi format is GS (SC-8820).

Joona Laamanen Wil You be my Valentine 6.53   Well, here is a song from a 13 years old boy. It's a little bit of pop-style. I composed it about 2 weeks, but I finished the MIDI in 2 days! When I first composed the song, I somehow was thinking in the chorus the words "Will You Be My Valentine?". So, I was thinking to put that name as the songs temporare name. I hope you like it :)!

Description: Sept. 9, 1909, Freddy,a mongrel pup, gets out a little earlier than normal. At first he is apprehensive about the light coming over the horizen, then just lays in wonder as light plays on the low late summer clouds...he then realizes the sun is rising and gets excited about a new day,then just as quickly decides there is nothing to be excited about. Method: standard score transcribed to midi.

Gerd Prengel B-A-C-H Fantasy 7.50   Adagio religioso Fantasia B-A-C-H. This is a very meditative Adagio in g minor for a stringquartett on the famous 4-note pattern B-A-C-H. The atmosphere here is of deep sadness and pain. A contrasting second theme in Eb Major, a kind of choral, rises up from this like a solemn prayer conveying the love of God. Both parts are repeated but varied and with more intensity of expression. At the end of the movement I attached a piano version because I consider to present the work also as a piano piece.  
James Taylor The Depot 7.24   Technical: Sound Font: GM; Sound Card: SoundBlaster 16. Description;Sept. 9, 1909. Freddy, the mongrel pup, realizes he has forgotten to bark at the morning train to the city. As he runs to take care of his duties at the depot, he is intercepted by the Fire. Department Band, practicing on the street. Freddy attempts to lock step with the band, but misses his train. Method: Standard score transcribed to Midi.

Ron Roos Brandenberg Echoes 5.98   This composition is configured for LPCadenza sound font, but works well with MerlinGM21 sound font. Not recommended for general MIDI, as you would not get the expression dynamics in the string voices as you should.

Pedro Flecha Wiraqcha 6.59   This is part of a Circus-ballet project based on the Andean culture. WiraQcha is the ruling principle of the Andean thought. The second part is inspired in the Nazca Lines from a condor flight point of view. All musical sequences are base donmathematical models.
