In the deep of winter, bundled lovers stroll, children play, skate and throw snowballs while parents keep watch, and awe inspiring cold beauty is everywhere. In the end, it was a truly glorious day. I had fun writing it (with Finale), and I hope you enjoy it.

Battles of Finland (38K), GM - Dec 16
CLASSICAL: I made this to picture positon of Finland. Finland locates between west and east. Between Sweden and Russia. For hundres of years Sweden or Russia has rule over Finland. Lots of wars and battles over area of Finland has been done. Swedish kings has used Finnish men in many battles. Military group called "Hakkapeliitta" was well known in Europa. They did not give mercy to enemy and did not peg for mercy. There are many stories of battles in Finland. We been independece since 6th of december 1917. In ww2 Soviet Union (Russia) tried to take our independence. They had lots of soldiers, guns, tanks and aeroplanes. Finland had less of soldiers but powerful enemy was stopped to border. Finland suffered heavyly by loosing land to Soviet. Carelia and Vyborg was lost (Vyborg was very beatiful town) . In middle of this piece (03:22) there is woman who screams and cries over lost Carelia just to get angry and hoping to get even sometime. Made with Sibelius notation software and SB live. (I Found problems converting sibelius files to midi. Sometimes instruments changes. This piece shoud be right.)

Op 11 v3 (56K1), GM - Dec 19
CLASSICAL. Composed using standard 4M soundfont using SBLive and Sonar. It uses several themes which I tried to fit and join together. I used most minor chords for a happy tragic Christmas.

This piece was supposed to have been techno, but went in an entirely different direction. The result is, um, interesting. Written with Finale.

Category: Techno. Description: Morpheus, in Greek mythology, was the guardian of dreams and the god of sleep. This piece represents who he is and what he does. It's very dark and moody. And you can hear a bit of Robert Miles in the song too. This song was composed using Cakewalk Pro Audio 9, keyboard, and SoundBlaster 128PCI.

Category: Mixed/Unknown. It's blended with a few different traditional Christmas tunes, but is mostly based on The First Noel. Not one of the most original songs, but fits for the time of year.

EXPERIMENTAL. Improved with Yamaha keyboard, echo added later... did this in Cakewalk Sonar. I recommend loading MerlinGM15 sound font for sweeter tones... written with this in mind, but works with GM fairly well.
